The payment card must match the guest’s name on identification on arrival. They do not accept American Express, Diners Club cards, or any other card. At ClinkNOORD they no longer accept cash payments. In all their other locations, they currently accept cash for food and beverages. In Amsterdam, a City tax of 12.5% is not included in the room rate and will be added to your balance. The city tax of Amsterdam increased from 7% to 12.5% on 1 January 2024. For all stays in 2024, the price will be updated to reflect this change. They also have a non-refundable rate that offers no flexibility on your booking along with a 10% discount. If you’re late to check out then you’ll be asked to pay for another night. All their hostel guests can stay for a maximum of 14 days in a 28-day period. If you want to make sure that you aren’t separated from your group, they suggest booking a private room or securing the entire dorm. Please note that all their dorms are mixed unless a girls-only dorm is booked.
